S-RAY VEATCH studied English and Philosophy at the University of Colorado, and received his BFA in Painting at Colorado State University. He studied at the International School of Art in Umbria, Italy in 1995. He has had numerous shows in the Seattle and Colorado areas, including the Frye Art Museum, the Kirkland Arts Center, and at The Wonderful World of Art. Dr. Thor Albert Zeen wrote of Veatch's exhibition, Climax of the Iris, "Mr. Veatch has concentrated on the middle ground of banality, given form by a reckless palette and a cavalier disregard for visual courtesy. If viewers do not leave his show without burrs under their saddles, they have no one to blame but themselves!" S-Ray Veatch lives and works in Seattle, Washington.
