Tips:

Most people can only see two museums and some churches in one day. We suggest that you stay over or plan other trips on your own to Rome during the summer. You can travel around in Rome on the Metro. In August, Rome is hot, but not crowded. Most museums are closed Mondays. Some museums offer discounts to seniors and people aged under 25. We also recommend that you are able to have your shoulders and thighs covered for the trips. There are actually guards who check your appearance at the entrance to the Vatican and certain churches. Remember, churches are not museums.
