CE students have single rooms. The School is in a newly renovated convento in the village of Montecastello, and has nine single rooms, each with stunning views of the Umbrian landscape and Tiber River Valley. The building also houses faculty studios, the art supply store, the computer room, wireless Internet, the dining room and kitchen, and the sculpture studio. Additional classrooms, studios and apartments are in several great stone palazzi in the village, all no more than a few minute's walk from each other. Students and residents have 24-hour access to their private and semi-private studios. Throughout the ancient town and out in the landscape are wonderful motifs and views to paint.

The program fee includes three delicious Umbrian meals each day, excluding trip days. Meals are prepared with care by our experienced local cooks. Dinner is on the scenic terrace overlooking the breathtaking Tiber River Valley. Students, teachers and staff enjoy meals together, enabling students to have close contact with their art mentors. Occasionally, visiting artists or members of the School faculty will join the CE community for meals and after-dinner talks.
