How to Order

Browse the Piccolomini Bookstore Web site and find the book descriptions included in our pages. If our description catches your interest and you wish to order, follow the link provided to that book in Amazon.com's online catalog.

We will then display the book's detail page, where you can press the "Add it to your Shopping Cart" button. You can complete your order immediately by following the "Buy Items Now" link at the bottom of the page, or you can return to our site to select more books.

Once you begin to finalize an order, the Amazon.com ordering software takes over, running on Amazon.com's server and using the same software used by their customers. From this point forward, you'll get complete customer service directly from Amazon.com.

Amazon.com will send you regular updates on your orders by e-mail, and ship your books directly to you anywhere in the world. Amazon.com will handle all of the financial transactions. Their Customer Service department will answer any questions or requests you have about your orders, including cancellations or returns as necessary.

About the Bookstore

This bookstore is a selection of books and other materials chosen by me, Marc Servin. It is entirely personal and not based on what I think will necessarily sell. The purpose of this selection is to familiarize interested people with books that I think are important, on subjects that are important to me, and I hope to other people. It also represents books that have been recommended to me or that I recommend to the community of the International School of Painting, Drawing and Sculpture, its faculty and students, and anyone interested in studying art in Italy.

I have been a book person nearly all my life, and have worked in the book business for about 20 years, from working as a salesclerk, to bookstore manager, to book buyer for a department store chain, until I left the business to become Director of the International School.

I hope you enjoy this evolving selection, and will visit the Piccolomini Bookstore again. The Piccolomini Bookstore in association with Amazon.com offers you discounts on many titles of up to 30% off list price or more.
