TAMARA MALKIN-STUART was born in Madrid, Spain. She studied painting and drawing at the New York Studio School, Pratt in Venice, the School of Visual Arts, the Art Students League of New York, and from 1993 - 1995 at the International School of Art. She received her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University, New York, where she was on the Dean's List. Tamara Malkin-Stuart was nominated for the Yale University Summer Fellowship, and was awarded the New York Studio School Dinstinction in Drawing Award, and the Harry N. Abrams Scholarship. Her work has been published in Drawing: Space, Form, Expression by Ensteice and Peters, Prentice Hall. She has had solo exhibitions at the New York Studio School, and group exhibitions in New York, Florida and Italy.
