GILDA LEONI lives in Frascati, Rome. She was Laurea Cum Laude at the Universita' di Roma in the History of Art, majoring in Islamic Art, and studied the Persian language at ISMEO, the Istituto per il Medio e Estremo Oriente in Rome. She has collaborated in research published by the Istituto Orientale di Napoli, and has published a bibliographic index on Iran. Gilda Leoni is currently a librarian at the Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare in Rome. As a painter, she has exhibited at the Galleria ISA, Galleria Vicolo 6 in Frascati, and at Spazioltre in Rome. She studied at the International School of Art in Umbria, Italy from 1994 - 1996.
