LAURA HOHLWEIN received an MFA in Creative writing from Vermont College, and her BA from California State University, Sacramento. She is also a graduate of the Sacramento Waldorf School. Laura Hohlwein studied drawing and painting at Parson's School of Design, Le Centre D'Etudes Français, Oberlin College, McGill University, and in 1996, the International School of Art. She has worked as an English instructor at the University of California, Davis, as a video director and scriptwriter, an editor and ghostwriter, and is a published poet. In 1990 her work was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. Laura Hohlwein has exhibited in Sacramento and New York, and lives in Sacramento, California.
