HEATHER BECKER studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where she received her B.F.A., the Glassell School of Art, and in 1989, at the International School of Art. She has had numerous solo exhibitons in Chicago, at the Union League Club, the Gwenda Jay Gallery, Two Illinois Center and The University Club. She has exhibited in group exhibitions throughout Chicago, and in Florida, New York and Italy. Heather Becker has received grants from the Elizabeth Greenfield Foundation, the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, the Goldkey Foundation, the Musicfest Foundation, and a Merit Scholarship from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her work is in the collection of the Rockford Art Museum, Rockford, IL. Heather Becker's work has been published in Where Chicago Magazine, Chicago Reader, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Art Chicago, and the Houston Post. She is currently represented by the Gwenda Jay Gallery.
